Hand forged white and yellow gold diamond solitaire.

This simple solitaire with a lightly hammered finish has been a firm favourite with brides looking for an ethical, eco-conscious engagement ring this year.

A stunning stone, set in a closed, rubover recycled 14ct yellow gold bezel, on a recycled 14ct white gold hand forged shank.

It is available in a range of colour combos, like rose gold, all yellow gold, a mixture of white / yellow / rose and in 9, 14 or 18ct golds - all recycled, or if preferred, FAIRTRADE gold.

All hand forged Glasswing diamond engagement rings are conflict free - here's how:

I currently use 100% recycled diamonds, recovered from vintage jewellery. I work individually with each customer, sourcing recycled diamonds to suit their design specification and their budget. Soon I will also be offering ethical newly mined diamonds, from Canada, and other environmentally responsible origins.

All the certificated recycled diamonds I select are are analysed and re-graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and have ther own '4c's assessment' report, which is the customer's to keep. The GIA is considered to be the top gemological authority when it comes to authenticating and grading gemstones in the world.

You can't get a surer guarantee that your engagement ring is ethical, eco-friendly and conflict free. Not only that, I use recycled precious metals, simple tools and minimal mechanisation in my making processes.

Eco friendly handmade wedding set - 2 stackers and a chunky D-shaped band

Big congratulations to John and Danielle, on their upcoming wedding day this July.  They commissioned this series of satin finished personalised rings.  I rarely get asked to make the stamped stacker ring (the thinner ones) in satin, so I thought I'd take a photo or two - I think they look lovely.

The 6mm D-shaped chunky band here also looks lovely in the satin finish, and has personal messages stamped inside.  It is available in recycled silver, recycled white gold and yellow gold too.  

18ct white gold eco wedding rings for Valentines weekend

This set of personalised 6mm and 7mm 18ct recycled white gold wedding rings were commissioned at the very last minute by a lovely couple tying the knot in Cornwall just after this Valentines weekend. 

 I hand forged them from 100% white gold bullion refined and milled here in the UK.

 Despite the storms, the flood, 48 hour power cuts, and the Post Office's best efforts to stop them, these beauties arrived at their destination, with three hours to go before the wedding ceremony.  One relieved jeweller!  The happy couple were delighted, and I was absolutely thrilled to make these rings for them.

Satin finish recycled diamond engagement ring - TOTALLY conflict free!

This quite chunky recycled silver recycled diamond 6mm wide engagement ring features an 18 carat recycled gold bezel with 4.5mm 0.3ct Harmony recycled diamond.  It's quite a statement ring. When I initially recieve an enquiry from a customer, we work closely together to realise their exact design to create their perfect engagement and wedding rings.  

I source each recycled Harmony diamond especially, from the ethical bullion and diamond supplier, Hoover and Strong, according to each customer's requirements and budget. Having recycled diamonds in your engagement ring guarantees your beautiful ring is totally ethical, with no risk of having contributed to the promotion and supporting unethical supply chains and work conditions.  Not only that, many of the diamonds sourced from vintage jewellery are particularly well cut, and can be super sparkly and pretty.

I have had a lot of satin finish commissions this year, and I particularly like the contrast of the soft brush texture next to the bright uber-crisp sparkle of the diamond in this one.

It is paired with a 4mm D-shaped recycled sterling silver wedding band, also in satin finish.
